A wildfire burned about three acres of brush in the Wildomar area Tuesday, briefly prompting some evacuation orders but causing no injuries.

The fire was reported at 1:04 p.m. in light to medium brush near Interstate 15 and Baxter Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Evacuations were quickly ordered for residents south of Wildomar Trail, east of the freeway, north of Peggy Lane and west of Bayless Road as the fire burned, but crews were able to largely halt the fire’s advance within about 30 minutes, and all evacuation orders were lifted.

Fifty firefighters and a water tender were dispatched to the scene.
