The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose three-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.693, one day after a streak of 21 consecutive increases ended when it dropped one-tenth of a cent.

“Southern California refineries are continuing to report planned and unplanned maintenance, which creates supply uncertainty and drives up prices at the pump,” said Doug Shupe, the Automobile Club of Southern California’s corporate communications manager.
