Thirty people were arrested for operating a vehicle without a license or with a suspended or revoked license at a driving under the influence/ license check operation in Riverside Saturday.
In addition to the 30 motorists who were arrested, 41 drivers were cited for various offenses, said Sgt. James Elliott of the Riverside Police Department’s Traffic Bureau.
The checkpoint was held at Alessandro Boulevard, east of Barton Street. between the hours of 8 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday.
Police said 1,130 vehicles were screened during the operation.
