The average price of a gallon of self-service regular gasoline in Riverside County rose two-tenths of a cent Monday to $4.337, a day after rising one-tenth of a cent.
The average price is 1.5 cents more than one week ago, but 7.6 cents lower than one month ago and 49.8 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.036 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price was unchanged at $3.056, a day after dropping two-tenths of a cent. It has dropped seven of the past 10 days and 2.8 cents over the past 10 days.
It is 1.5 cents less than one week ago, 8.8 cents less than one month ago and 20.3 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.96 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
