A two-vehicle collision in Desert Hot Springs Wednesday hospitalized two people who were in the same vehicle, authorities said.
The crash was reported shortly after 10:15 a.m. at the intersection of Palm Drive and 20th Avenue, according to a Riverside County Fire Department statement.
Firefighters arrived at the scene to extricate the two patients, one of whom was described as being in “serious condition” with the other in “moderate condition.” Both were taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
No injuries were reported for occupants of the other vehicle.
