The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped one-tenth of a cent Monday to $4.359, a day after dropping one-tenth of a cent.
The average price rose one-tenth of a cent Friday and Saturday and dropped one-tenth of a cent Wednesday and Thursday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is one-tenth of a cent more than one week ago, 7.9 cents more than one month ago and nine-tenths of a cent less than one year ago.
The average price has dropped $2.014 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped for the fourth consecutive day, decreasing one-tenth of a cent to $3.122, a day after dropping four-tenths of a cent. It dropped two-tenths of a cent Friday and six-tenths of a cent Saturday.
The national average price is three-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 8.8 cents higher than one month ago and 1.9 cents greater than one year ago. It has dropped $1.894 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
