The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped three-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.659.
The average price is a half-cent more than one week ago and 30 cents more than one month ago, but eight-tenths of a cent less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.714 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price decreased six-tenths of a cent to $3.145. It is 1.3 cents less than one week ago, 1 cent more than one month ago, and 12.2 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.871 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
