A Silver Alert was activated in Los Angeles County and two other counties for an 81-year-old man last seen Wednesday in the unincorporated Yucca Valley area in San Bernardino County.
Ray Elliott was last seen around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and is believed to be driving a white 2013 Ford E150 Econoline van with the California license plate of 77489F2, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office.
Elliott was described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants and black shoes.
The Silver Alert was also activated for Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
Anyone with information about Elliott’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to help them be recovered more quickly.
