The Los Angeles Dodgers will salute the tri-MVPs of the 1981 World Series — Ron Cey, Pedro Guerrero and Steve Yeager — at the annual Old-Timers Game before Saturday’s Dodgers-Colorado Rockies game at Dodger Stadium.

Five other members of the 1981 Dodgers are also set to participate in the Old-Timers Festivities — Steve Garvey, Fernando Valenzuela, Bill Russell, Derrel Thomas and Steve Sax, along with the team’s Hall of Fame manager, Tommy Lasorda.

Other scheduled participants include Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax, Don Newcombe, Tommy Davis, Maury Wills, Orel Hershiser, Nomar Garciaparra and Shawn Green. Current manager Dave Roberts and pitching coach, Rick Honeycutt will also participate.

All auto and stadium gates will open at 4:10 p.m. The Old-Timers batting practice will begin at 4 p.m., with introductions at 5 p.m., followed by a two-inning game, which will be shown live on SportsNet LA.

The first 40,000 fans in attendance Saturday will receive a Tri-MVP bobblehead.

Guerrero hit .333 in the 1981 World Series with two home runs and seven RBIs, including five in the decisive sixth game.

Cey hit a three-run home run in the Dodgers 5-4 victory in Game 3 after losing Games 1 and 2 and made a diving catch in the eighth inning of an attempted sacrifice bunt by Bobby Murcer, which he turned into a double play, ending the Yankees’ last rally. Cey hit .350 for the series with six RBIs.

Yeager, now the Dodgers catching instructor, drove in the tie-breaking runs in both Game 4 and Game 5. He had a seventh-inning pinch-hit sacrifice fly in Game 4’s 8-7 victory and a homer in the seventh in Game 5’s 2-1 victory, which followed Guerrero’s homer. Yeager also homered in the 5-3 Game 1 loss.
