The Los Angeles Kings will donate a portion of the proceeds of the First Responders Appreciation Night ticket offer for Thursday evening’s game at Staples Center to the Las Vegas Victims Fund.

The tickets can be purchased on the tickets portion of the team’s website,

The fund supports those affected by the Oct. 1 shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival.

The game is also the second of the four-game Kings Food Drive. Fans are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items — such as pasta, canned fruits and vegetables, rice, beans, pancake mix, syrup, tuna, soups, peanut butter and jelly and granola bars.

Donors will receive a raffle ticket for a drawing for a pair of tickets to the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas concert.

The drive will also be held at games Saturday and Wednesday.
