Two people were in the hospital Tuesday after a two-vehicle crash that left a fire hydrant damaged in downtown Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded at 1:04 a.m. Tuesday to the intersection of Third and Alameda streets where they found a silver Chevrolet Camaro and another vehicle had collided, an LAPD officer told City News Service.
The drivers of both vehicles sustained injuries and Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics took them to a hospital in unknown conditions.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known. Police closed the intersection of Third and Alameda streets while they investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash.
