The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Tuesday for the 10th time in 11 days, increasing 1.1 cents to $4.676, its highest amount since June 10.

The average price has risen 6.2 cents over the past 11 days, including a half-cent Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It rose three consecutive days, dropped two-tenths of a cent last Tuesday and resumed increasing Wednesday.

The average price is 3.8 cents more than one week ago, 21.1 cents higher than one month ago and 6.7 cents above what it was one year ago. It has dropped $1.817 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price rose for the 19th time in 20 days, increasing nine-tenths of a cent to $4.65, its highest amount since June 2. It has risen 20.8 cents over the past 20 days, including four-tenths of a cent Monday. It increased 13 consecutive days, dropped two-tenths of a cent Wednesday and resumed rising Thursday.

The Orange County average price is 4 cents more than one week ago, 23.5 cents more than one month ago and 11.6 cents above what it was one year ago. It has dropped $1.808 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price dropped six-tenths of a cent to $3.193, one day after rising two-tenths of a cent. It is seven-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 4.8 cents higher than one month ago but 7.7 cents less than one year ago.

The national average price has dropped $1.823 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
