A man and woman were in custody Wednesday for allegedly burglarizing a Burbank residence, authorities said.
The crime occurred about 1:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of North Lomita Street, the Burbank Police Department reported.
David Fredericks, 55, and Francesca Beltran, 42, were arrested a short time later and were booked on suspicion of residential burglary, police said. Each was held on $50,000 bail.
Officers sent to the scene on a burglary call found the suspects in a car that was parked nearby, police said. The victim identified the pair, and they were arrested.
Police said they recovered a toy gun that allegedly had been brandished by one of the suspects during the crime. The suspects were expected to appear in court on Thursday.
