The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose four-tenths of a cent Wednesday to $3.55, one day after dropping three-tenths of a cents to its lowest amount since April 20.

The average price is three-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 6.3 cents lower than one month ago but 66.5 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 47.7 cents since the start of the year.

The increase of four-tenths of a cent matched the largest daily increase since May 30.
