A vehicle slammed into a home in Desert Hot Springs this evening, damaging the building but not hurting anyone, Cal Fire Riverside reported.
The crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. at a house in the 66000 block of Acoma Avenue, the fire department reported.
The department dispatched two engines and seven firefighters to the scene.
The crash caused minor damage to the structure, which was examined by Building and Safety inspectors, the department said.
One adult and four minor children were displaced. The Red Cross was summoned to help them, the department reported.
