A fire tore through a mobile home in Sky Valley Tuesday, leaving four adults displaced on the day before Christmas.

A large amount of smoke was reported coming from the single-wide mobile home at 11:52 a.m. in the 74000 block of Dillion Road in Sky Valley, according to the Riverside County Fire Department reported.

It took crews less than half an hour to contain the flames, according to the department. No injuries were reported, but American Red Cross volunteers were called to assist four adults, one dog and one cat displaced by the blaze.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
