A vehicle rammed into a church in Moreno Valley Tuesday, injuring one person.
The solo-vehicle crash was reported at 9:34 a.m. at a church on Cottonwood Avenue near Perris Boulevard, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
St. Christopher Catholic Church is located in the area, but authorities did not specify if it was the church involved.
One person was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, although it was not clear if the person was in the vehicle.
The church sustained “moderate damage and will require inspection prior to re-opening,” fire officials said.
