Firefighters rescued a person who fell off a bicycle on a La Quinta trail Sunday.
The injury was reported Sunday morning on the Boo Hof Trail in the San Jacinto Mountains, according the Riverside County Fire Department.
Emergency crews hiked to the location of the injured bicyclist and walked the person down the trail, fire officials said.
The person — identified only as an adult — was taken to a hospital by ground ambulance with minor injuries.
