A woman was killed after being ejected in a crash on Interstate 15 in Murrieta Saturday.
The two-car collision was reported at 9:45 a.m. on the northbound Murrieta Hot Springs Road on-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A caller told a CHP dispatcher that an elderly woman was ejected during the crash and was lying on the ground without a pulse.
Personnel from the Riverside County coroner’s officer were later dispatched to the scene.
It’s unclear what led to the crash or if anyone else was injured.
The on-ramp was closed for about three hours for the death investigation but has since reopened.
