A Honda Accord crashed into the back of a big rig Wednesday morning on Interstate 10 in Beaumont, triggering a fuel spill but no injuries.
The collision was reported about 7:45 a.m. on eastbound I-10, west of Highland Springs Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The tractor-trailer leaked an unspecified quantity of diesel, and Caltrans workers were summoned to help build a makeshift dam to keep the fuel from going down a nearby drain.
