An 86-year-old woman with degenerative brain disease who went missing in Arlington Heights has been located, authorities said Saturday.
The Los Angeles Police Department and the California Highway Patrol did not release where or when Ana Marlina Martinez was located.
Martinez was last seen around 3 p.m. Thursday at her caregiver’s home north of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in the 1800 block of Wilton Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to help them be recovered more quickly.
