Fresh snow caused road restrictions on only one road in Los Angeles County Saturday: the road linking the Antelope Valley cities to Wrightwood.

Chains were required on Big Pine Highway from Largo Vista Drive up the hill to State Route 2, and on Route 2 in the vicinity of Mountain High Ski Area west of Wrightwood.

Snow fell overnight at elevations above 5,000 feet, the county Department of Public Works reported.

Other high-country highways — notably Mount Baldy Road and the Angeles Forest Highway above La Crescenta- Flintridge — were open and clear.
