Los Angeles will awake Sunday to low clouds and fog and unusually high surf along the beaches.
The National Weather Service office in Oxnard said the fog will burn off by the afternoon as highs reach into the 60s.
High surf due to a storm in the Gulf of Alaska will continue through Tuesday afternoon. Surfers can expect surf heights of 6 to 10 feet, with maximum sets up to to 15 feet on exposed, west-facing beaches.
Lows overnight Sunday will be in the lower 50s. Monday will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain and highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s.
