Great. Now that the holiday weekend is over and you’re headed back to work or school Tuesday, here comes a warming trend.

But nice weather is better than the alternative, even if you can’t bask on a beach.

The National Weather Service forecast for Los Angeles and vicinity on Tuesday calls for low clouds and fog in the morning then sunny. Highs from the lower to mid 70s at the beaches to around 80 inland.

Tuesday night it will be clear early then low clouds and fog. Lows in the lower 60s.

The forecast for Wednesday calls for low clouds and fog in the morning then sunny. Highs from the lower to mid 70s at the beaches to the lower to mid 80s inland.

In Coastal Orange County the forecast for Tuesday calls for cloudy in the morning, and then becoming mostly sunny. Highs 73 to 78.

Tuesday night it will be mostly clear in the evening, and then ecoming cloudy. Patchy fog overnight. Lows around 63.

Wednesday it will be cloudy in the morning and then becoming mostly sunny. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs 75 to 80.

The ultraviolet index level in the Los Angeles area for Tuesday is a very high 9, according to the weather service. A very high exposure level reading of 10, or greater, means a fair skinned person could suffer a sunburn in about four minutes if not protected.
