Universal Studios Hollywood unveiled an online ticket-buying system Tuesday that will offer visitors discounts for advance purchases and early admission to the park once the much-anticipated Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction opens in April.

The system, known as EZ Rez, will offer discounts of up to $20 on tickets, depending on the day. Tickets purchased at the gate are $95, but for a non-peak day, advance tickets purchased online can drop as low as $75.

Visitors who buy the advanced tickets will be able to enter the park one hour early beginning April 7, when the Harry Potter attraction opens, giving them a head start on the crowds.

The advance tickets can be purchased on the theme park’s website.

The opening of the Harry Potter attraction is expected to cause a spike in attendance. The attraction includes a meticulous recreation of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, with features such as Professor Dumbledore’s office, the Portrait Gallery and the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom.

The surrounding Hogsmeade village includes shops such as Honeydukes, Owl Post, Wiseacres Wizarding Equipment, Dervish and Banges, Gladrags Wizardwear and Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods.

Also included in the attraction are two rides — the 3-D “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey” and Universal Studios Hollywood’s first outdoor roller coaster, “Flight of the Hippogriff.”

A virtual tour is available online here.
