A 64-year-old female passenger was killed in a two-vehicle crash at the Getty Center entrance on Saturday, a police officer said Sunday.
The crash, on Sepulveda Boulevard at Getty Center Drive, was at about 11:20 a.m. Saturday, said Los Angeles police officer Norma Eisenman of the Media Relations Section.
An 18-year-old motorist was driving a 2015 Porsche Panamera south on Sepulveda Boulevard, and it hit a black Acura MDX that made a left turn into Getty Center from northbound Sepulveda.
That left turn movement has either a round green signal or a left green arrow, according to Internet photos, and the police report did not indicate who had the right of way, or what the Porsche’s speed was.
The Acura’s driver, a 69-year-old man, was injured, Eisenman said. It was not clear what his relationship was to the 64-year-old woman, who was taken to a hospital where she died from her injuries, she said.
No driver was immediately cited, she said.
