A 26-year-old Fullerton man was killed in a head-on collision in Rowland Heights Thursday, a California Highway Patrol Officer said.

The crash was at about 2:10 a.m. on Brea Canyon Cut-off Road at Bickford Drive, CHP Officer Monica Posada said.

According to the CHP crash report, the man was driving a 2011 Infiniti G37 south on Brea Canyon Cut-Off Road, just south of Bickford Drive.

Junje Li, 23, was a passenger in the Infiniti.

A 2010 Lexus driven by Le Sabrina Dejonge, 22, was headed north on the road. For some unknown reason, the man’s Infiniti crossed over the double yellow line into the northbound lane and collided head-on into the Lexus.

The Fullerton man was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, Li, suffered multiple rib fractures, and facial cuts.

The Lexus driver, Dejonge, suffered a broken nose and injured her right shoulder and hip, according to the CHP.

The crash shut down Brea Canyon Cut-off Road for nearly four hours, according to Posada.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation by the CHP.
