Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire Sunday inside a closed Hill Grill restaurant in downtown Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The blaze inside the 442-square-foot hamburger eatery was reported at 5:02 p.m., LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey said.
The department sent 30 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the blaze in about 10 minutes, Humphrey said.
Some nearby vehicles were temporarily threatened but none were damaged, Humphrey continued.
No injures were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation, he said.
