A half-acre brush fire broke out Thursday afternoon in Elysian Park, but no structures were damaged.
The fire was reported about 4:05 p.m. in the 500 block of Park Row Drive, near the Arroyo Seco (110) Parkway, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Forty-seven firefighters extinguished the blaze in about 20 minutes, and no injuries were reported, Prange said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
