A prop plane and a helicopter came into contact on the ground at Van Nuys Airport Thursday afternoon, but no one was injured.
The mishap occurred about 4:30 p.m. in the northwest corner of the facility, said airport Chief of Operations Flora Margheritis. There was no damage to the Aero Commander plane, she said.
The plane’s nose section could be seen smashed into the front windshield of the helicopter, which is operated by a local television station.
