A person was killed Sunday when a vehicle overturned on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway.
The crash occurred at about 7:05 a.m. on the eastbound freeway at the Crenshaw Boulevard off-ramp, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A Sigalert was issued a 7:25 a.m. closing the eastbound freeway at Crenshaw Boulevard for at least one hour, the CHP said.
A representative from the Los Angeles County coroner’s office was called to the scene at 7:35 a.m.
