Metrolink Line AV 224 was back on the move Friday evening after a person was struck by a Metrolink train earlier in Glendale.
The pedestrian was struck in an area near West San Fernando Road and Electronics Place, east of the Los Angeles River and on the border of Atwater Village, around 5:30 p.m. Friday, closing down the tracks between Glendale and downtown Burbank, according to MetroLink. There was no information about the person’s condition or identity.
Shortly before 9 p.m., the agency announced that delayed trains were moving again. Travelers aboard AV Line 224 were expected to experience a delay of 3 hours and 45 minutes in because of the collision. AV Line 230 to Los Angeles was experiencing a 50-minute lag.
