
Two men and a woman were killed when the motorcycles they were on collided in Palmdale, authorities said Thursday.
The collision occurred after one of the motorcycles struck the rear of an SUV at high speed near 10th Street West and Avenue N-8 about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, said Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. Brian Dunn.
Killed were Michael Cole, 32, of Rosamond, and Lancaster residents London Ortiz-Stodgell, 20, and Zachary Swenson, 21, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
The woman was a passenger on one of the motorcycles, Dunn said. Three women in the SUV suffered minor injuries, Dunn said.
