Firefighters knocked down a fire at a single-story residence in Jurupa Valley Thursday.
The flames were first reported shortly after 8:10 a.m. Thursday in the 11000 block of Holmes Avenue, according to a Riverside County Fire Department statement.
After knocking down the blaze, firefighters will remain at the scene, according to the statement. Two parties were displaced but did not require Red Cross attention.
