Orange County sheriff’s deputies Thursday were looking for a man who stabbed a victim in the parking lot during an attempted carjacking in Laguna Niguel.
Deputies were dispatched just after 10 p.m. Wednesday to the Aliso Village Shopping Center at La Paz and Dorine roads, according to sheriff’s Sgt. Matt Timmins.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and was expected to survive his injuries, Timmins said.
The attacker ran away and deputies only had a vague description of the suspect so far, Timmins said. The attacker ran off before he was able to take the vehicle, Timmins said.
