Firefighters contained a fire Saturday in a commercial building in an unincorporated area of Riverside County, authorities said.
Crews responded to the 14000 block of Meridian Pakrway and contained a fire in a building filled with “consumer grade rechargeable batteries” that had re-ignited, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters expected to remain at the scene for approximately an hour for mop-up work.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
