A woman was in the hospital after she was shot in the Baldwin Hills neighborhood and Los Angeles Police Department officers Friday are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
LAPD officers responded at 11:29 p.m. Thursday to 4187 Marlton Ave. between Don Felipe Drive and Lockland Drive regarding a shots fired call and when they arrived, they found the victim outside the residence with a gunshot wound, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics took the victim to a hospital in stable condition.
There are no suspects in the shooting, police said.
