A fire that erupted Friday in a Meadowbrook mobile home caused significant damage, displacing the occupants, who were not hurt.
The blaze was reported at 3:45 p.m. Friday in the 21000 block of Tyson Road, near and Greenwald Avenue, just south of Highway 74, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency stated that multiple engine crews were sent to the location and encountered flames raging at one end of the trailer. Firefighters quickly deployed hose lays, containing the blaze within 20 minutes and knocking it down completely by 4:25 p.m.
The property was left uninhabitable, and Red Cross personnel were requested to assist the occupants with finding temporary alternate lodgings. It was not immediately clear how many were residing in the home.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
