One person was killed Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway in Newhall.
The collision was reported at 11:51 a.m. on the northbound 14 Freeway just north of the Golden State (5) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, a CHP officer said.
Unconfirmed reports from the scene indicated a car became lodged beneath a truck.
A SigAlert was issued at 12:15 p.m., closing two northbound lanes, according to the CHP.
