A suspect was taken into custody Tuesday following a shooting in downtown Los Angeles.
Officers responded at approximately 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to an area near West Fifth Street and South Broadway to reports of shots fired, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said one person was taken by ambulance to a hospital in unknown condition following the shooting.
A suspect was taken into custody, but further details were not immediately provided.
