Firefighters Friday knocked down a contents fire inside a second-floor unit of a two-story apartment building in the Mid-Wilshire community of Los Angeles, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 7:16 a.m. to 1358 S. Burnside Ave. had the fire out within 14 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
