About 300 demonstrators held a peaceful protest Sunday outside the headquarters of Breitbart, the Internet site criticized for racist copy, once headed by the man chosen to have offices next to the next president in the White House.
Organizers of the “If Not Now LA” march demanded that President Elect Donald J. Trump fire and denounce Steve Bannon, the former executive editor of Breitbart. Under him, protesters said the web site has become a center for a mix of racism, white nationalism and old-fashioned populism, and has published anti-Semitic articles.
The group gathered about 10 a.m. at La Cienega Park, 8400 Gregory Way, before moving on to the office building at the 8300 block of Wilshire Boulevard. They concluded their demonstration at about noon, according to a watch commander at the Beverly Hills Police Department.
No arrests have been made, he said.

Prominent Jews led one segment of the march, and accused Bannon of building a political career targeting Muslims, immigrants, women, the LGBTQ community, and other minorities.
Rabbi Nate DeGroot, an organizer, said in a statement “we have come upon a place that demands we speak up, what we know to be true and good, with voices that do not quiver and souls that do not shake.”
