“Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation” topped the North American box office race for the second consecutive weekend with an estimated gross of $29.4 million, according to projections released Sunday.

The Paramount release has earned $108.65 million in 10 days of release, according to the box office tracking firm Rentrak.

The new 20th Century Fox superhero release “Fantastic Four” was second with $26.2 million. The new suspense thriller “The Gift” was third at $12.01 million.

The R-rated comedy “Vacation” was fourth at $9.15 million. It has grossed $37.32 million in its two weeks in release.

The Disney/Marvel superhero comedy “Ant-Man” took in another $7.83 million, increasing its take to $147.44 million for its four weeks in circulation.

Rounding out the top 10 films of the weekend were “Minions” ($7.37 million); “Ricki and The Flash” ($7 million); “Trainwreck” ($6.27 million); “Pixels” ($5.43 million); and “Southpaw” ($4.76 million).

Final figures will be released on Monday
