Potentially affecting millions — from casual users to large corporations — the site showed some panicked comments, including from Instagram users:
“Whats going on? I am frightened!” posted Gail Barbeau-Juarez.
“Nooooooooooooooooo,” said Andrew Lim.
As of 2:35 p.m., Facebook’s newsroom had not reported the crash.
But users reported the service was restored — with a few exceptions — in the affected areas about 2 p.m.
