Firefighters battled a stubborn greater alarm fire inside a two-story vacant business building in North Hollywood Saturday.
The blaze inside the structure at 11345 Chandler Blvd. was reported at 3:27 p.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
The department sent 80 firefighters to the scene, Humphrey said.
Authorities shut down traffic on Tujunga Avenue between Chandler and Burbank boulevards, Humphrey said. The Orange line Bus service was temporarily closed near the fire site.
