A person was killed and two other people were injured Sunday in a two-vehicle crash in Lake Elsinore, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 5:30 a.m. on westbound State Route 74, just east of Hammack Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Paramedics rushed one person to a hospital with moderate injuries. Another person with minor injuries was evaluated at the scene and declined further care, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
A representative from the Riverside County coroner’s office was dispatched to the location at 6:01 a.m.
