Firefighters from the Riverside Fire Department were on scene of a carbon dioxide leak at a Circle K convenience store in Riverside Thursday.
The leak was reported around 5 a.m. Thursday at the Circle K store located at 3480 Madison St., according to the fire department.
A Circle K store clerk was taken to a hospital, but his condition was unknown. The other store clerks who were working the night shift were being evaluated, reported the fire department.
A haz-mat team was on scene and a fire prevention team was requested. The Riverside FD said the Riverside County Environmental Health has also been contacted.
