One person was killed Saturday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Coachella.
The crash was reported at 8:23 p.m. Saturday on Cesar Chavez Street at Avenue 50, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
One of the vehicles was in flames when firefighters arrived, officials said.
One patient was pronounced dead at the scene and another patient was taken by ground ambulance to a hospital, fire officials said.
