Firefighters were battling a 34-acre brush fire in Banning Saturday.
The fire was reported around noon on near the intersection of Old Banning Idyllwild Road and Shirleon Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
It was originally reported at 10 acres but had grown to 34 acres by 1:21 p.m.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
No injuries were immediately reported.
