A motorist was killed Thursday when his vehicle crashed into a tree in Acton.
The solo-vehicle crash was reported at 3:08 a.m. Thursday at Aliso Canyon Road and Soledad Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Oscar Fierro, 40, of Arleta died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
